Two phases for success

Phase 1: Pitch bootcamp

Build confidence, stress-test your idea, and learn the fundamentals of communicating a health innovation. Over two days, participants explore clinical needs, market fit, value proposition design, and effective pitching.

Phase 2: Venture bootcamp

Deepen your venture development skills. Participants refine problem–solution fit, explore IP and regulatory pathways, strengthen their commercial narrative, and prepare for the semi-final and Singapore Showcase.

Eligibility

Who it's for

Origin Singapore is open to anyone in Singapore with an innovative health-related idea, research project, or early-stage startup.

Whether you're a clinician tackling a problem, a researcher with promising data, an engineer building a prototype, or an aspiring founder with a vision–Origin is your pathway into health entrepreneurship.

You're a fit if you:

  • Have an idea, project, or early-stage startup in MedTech, BioTech, or Health Tech

  • Are based in Singapore or developing a solution suited to the Singapore or Asia-Pacific healthcare ecosystem

  • Hold early evidence of feasibility (research results, prototype, IP, or clear problem insight) or are ready to develop an idea

  • Can commit at least one team member to attend program bootcamps and pitching activities

After an initial screening, shortlisted applicants attend the Pitch Bootcamp to learn from experts and showcase their ideas

Selected teams progress to the Venture Bootcamp, semi-final, and the Singapore Showcase
